Horses name: Kiss 'in the Sky Handlers name: Nuffy Owners name: Nuffy Class #: 7 After an amazing time in the warm-up ring, I knew we were ready. I hopped off Cassie and lead her to the arena, where we waited until the class was called. I wasn't really nerves because I knew we would do fine! I fixed her braids, tightened my girth, and whipped the green slim off her nose (I told my mom not to let her eat grass while I went to the bathroom.....but did she listen, NO! lol) When the class was officially called I hopped on gracefully, and walked into the class. I reminded myself of all the things I should do...heels down, chin up, shoulders back, SMILE, etc. When I saw all the horses line up, I knew we had some competition! One-by-one they all went doing the pattern until it came down to me. "Well girl, good luck!" I whispered to her. I knew she heard me, because one of her ears went back toward my voice. I asked her to walk on the rail until we got to the corner. "Trot" I said as she picked up a flowing trot. She had a great arched neck, and even tempo. I tapped her with my legs and crop (lightly) and she picked up the canter on the wrong lead. "Good girl! Next is the correct lead" I said in my head. I knew she would do a flying lead change because we had been working on it all summer. In the middle of the long side we tried it. I could feel her change! "Nicely done!" I said happily to my Grey warmblood. We cantered all the way until we got down to the shorts side. I gave her a couple half-halts and sat deep in my seat. She immediately walked. I gave her some rein so she could stretch her back a little. "Okay now, trot!" I urged her into an extended trot. I have her leg then a half halt to keep her from cantering. about in the middle, I sat deep in the saddle and put all of my weight in my heels. She came down in an incredible collected trot. She looked better than ever! Her shining coat caught the sunlight, and shimmered. She judge smiled and wrote some notes down. I collected my reins and asked her for a canter. She picked up the correct lead and we proceeded in a circle left. She was really balanced and her mouth was so soft that I felt like I was flying! We took a 10-meter circle and then turned so we where facing the middle. in the center, I brought her down to a trot. "Good Girl!" I said excitedly knowing we were almost done with the course. "Over" I said pushing my opposite leg into her side to get her to Side-pass. We made the shape of a "V" and continued at a regular trot, all the way over to the starting position. I was so happy I gave her a big hug, and let her relax. Finally we were over! Please do not copy ANYTHING from this post

Horses name:Rosana Riders/handlers name:Jazz Owners name:jazz Class #:1
i walked into the ring with a beautiful grey andalusion following behind me.we were tracking left. i started to run at a pace were rose would have to trot.we made it all the way to the second corner.then rosana started to slow down."come on girl"i said picking up my pace a little so she had to trot to keep up.she cooperated all the way down the long side of the arena.she did okay around the short side(she started to get worked up but i was able to calm her down by talking quietly).i followed my fellow competitors to the center of the arena were we waited for the judge to come.when the judge was two horses down from us i looked over rose one more time.she had some dirt on her hoof and when the judge wasnt looking i whipped it off.then the judge got to us.he looked over roses face and left side rether quikly but seemed to study her right side.then she/he told me to have her walk down the rail and trot back.so i turned rose toward the rail and walked with her down to the end.then i turned her around and was able to get her to trot back.there we waited for everyone else to be down and be placed.

i walked into the arena tracking left with everyone behind me,and magic to one side of me.we started to trot forward toward the first corner.he did fine and was absolutely beautiful.it was after the second corner and down the long side he gave me some trouble.him being the showoff he is,tried to canter toward the far corner.he succeeded for like a second,i was able to stop him and keep him at a trot.for a moment he looked like a king, elegantly trotting down the side with his black mane and tail bouncing along with him.we made it all the way around with no troubles and trotted toward the middle.we halted and waited to be inspected.i looked him over one more time.i must have dazed at his beauty cause next thing i knew the judge was asking us to walk down the rail and trot back."of course judge"i said as i started to walk down the arena.then i turned magic around and trotted back."few, its over with only one mistake"i said to myself waiting to be judged.
