"You can, I'm just going to canter a bit around.....I'll try to say out of the way." I said. We went into a trot and then I gave him the signals, supported him, and we started to canter. I quickley looked down to see if I was on the correct lead, and when I figured I was, we kept it up for about one more time around the arena. "Good Man" I said very happily as I met back up with Joaka and Jazz.

I hopped off and led Weedy to the first jump. I raised it to about 3' and then walked to another one. When the course was done I hopped back onto Weedy and headed him towards luvhorses42 and Gage. ((This is the course))

"Okay" I said. "I'm trying the course!" I nearly yelled because I was exited! I began a courtisy circle and picked up my trot, then canter. Weedy cantered very nicely and I directed him to the first jump. He cleared it easily and picked up a little speed. I immidiatly turned him left towards the bounce. He hopped over the first one and right as he landed he took off again for the second. He also cleared those! Then I turned him left, then right and went straight for the triple line. Weedy leaped off the ground and cleared the first jump. He landed, took one stride and leaped over the second. He landed that one and took one more stide. Then he attempted the third jump! He just barely made it over and rubbed his back hooves, but the jump didn't fall! I turned him right, but not quite enough. We swung the turn wide and I had to shorten his stride before he gave a great effort to hurdle us over the widest part of the jump. Thankfully we cleared it! Then we went straight for jump number five in five short strides. He took off and also cleared this one! We turned right and went over jump number six. Then we turned right some more and hopped over a simple line. Then we turned left and crossed on a diaganal doing a flying lead change in the center. We reached the rail and turned left. Weedy picked up speed as we headed for the last jump. He put his head lower and leaped into the air. We landed and I realized that we had a clean round! "Yay. I got a clean round" I said begining another courtisy circle. I slowed Weedy into a trot, then walk. I went over to jazz and said "Now you try that" challanging her to a jump off! Jazz moved into a walk and luvhorses42 came over to the gate leading Zippy who was all tacked up.

I warmed up Zippy by trotting him a couple times around in both directions. I came back to Joaka and Jazz who had already jumped the cource a couple times while I was warming up. "How are your horses doing?" I asked to Joe and Jazz

"They are fine and are loving these jumps! Or at least Weedy is, I'm not sure about Smokey" I said as I moved Weedy into a nice canter and headed to the first jump in the course.

"I'm going to try Zippy after Jazz" I said to Joaka. When Jazz was all done, I did a courtisy circle and begun. We started in a trot but then began into a nice collected canter over the first and second jumps. Zippy got a little fast after the second jumps so I gave him half-halts, that slowed him down just before the triple cross-rail jump. We glided over thoughs and the rest of the corse until we came to the the hedge jump. Zippy wasn't sure if he wanted to go over it so he stoped short infront of it. I lost balesnce and almost fell off. I circled Zippy and went back over it and kept him extra forward for the rest of the course.

"Good job!" I said as Zippy flew over the last jump and landed in a nice canter. "I wonder just how high Weedy can jump" I said thinking about trying him out over very high jumps.

"Okay" I said hopping off and raised the fifth jump up to 4'. I hopped back up and moved Weedy into a forward canter. We headed towards the jump. As we got nearer I could feel Weedy lengthen his stride. He leaped off the ground and seemed to clear it with only a little trouble. "Good boy" I said patting his neck after we landed! "I think he can go higher, what do you think?" I asked wondering if Weedy could make it over 4'6".
