I watched as a chipmunk ran out infront of Music and scared her but all she did was stop and I said"Ok Music chipmunks are smaller than you get over it."I said laughing as the chipmunk sat on a log and ate an acorn.

"Yea but I didn't know she spooked from chipmonks."I said looking at Nuffy with a grin."Oh and Nuffy Rainy is still spooky of water but only a little not like a major fear,...he just kind of cautiously walks through okay?" I said to Nuffy who was behind Joaka.

Music was prancing through the tiny puddle we were walking through when I pulled out my ipod and put an earbud in one ear. "Hey when we get to the end of this trail if you guys want to go on you can I need to go back so I can unwrap Relish's legs and put some more cream on her cut, okay?" I said adjusting my helmut to fit my earbud.

"hey guys I am gonna turn back, ill see ya'll later!" I said turning Music back from where we came. I urged Music into a warm canter and we pounded back to the stables in record time. I guess enough time to fix unwrap Relish's legs and go home to eat. I waled Music up to the barn entrance and dismounted. "Come on Music, its time to turn in for today, I need to wrap Relish's legs again," i said turning Music outinto the paddock. I carried Music's tack into the tack room and hung her bridle beside Relish's. I grabbed my vet perscribed bag and jogged to Relish's stall. He put his head over the stall and gave a small nicker in search of some treats. "Not today buddy, maybe tommorow when i get more," i said unwrapping his leg and putting more cream on. I pulled out another fresh wrap and rewrapped his leg. i gave him a rub and walked out of the barn closing the door behind me.

I decided i would take Lakota out today for a ride into the woods. I ran into the barn and greeted my lovlies and ran to the tackroom to gather Lakota's gear. As I was running I noticed that I was a little dizzy but did not think much of it at the time. I reached into my tack locker and grabbed Lakota's running martingale and figure eight bridle. I got out my cross country saddle and walked to Lakota's stall. "OW!" I said as my stomach twinged a pain. Once again I did not think of it. "Hey, baby! How are you? You are looking mighty fine today Sir Lakota!" I said walking into Lakota's stall with a warm greeting. I put his gleaming leather halter on and walked him out into the aisle to put him on the crossties. I brushed him out and wrapped his legs. I put his bridle, saddle, and martingale on then walked him out to the mounting block. I put on my helamet and slipped my crop into my boot and kicked him into afast walk to the trail entrance. I trotted him to the fork in the trail and took the right to the gorge."Ok boy let's stop here and take a break." I said hopping off to the ground. As I dismounted I receved a bad sharp pain to my stomach that made me gasp and double over. Lakota was now lookinga t me with worried eyes and nudging me with his nose against my shoulder. "I am fine boy, dont worry.......its ok," I said holding my stomach and sitting on the ground. I really wasnt fine....ever since I got kicked in the stomach by Relish the other day, it has been hard to eat and keep it down and breathe without it hurting. Now can't ride without sharp pains."Come on boy we should start to the gorge so we can get back in time," i said slowly climbing to the saddle. We rode for another ten minutes the pain not going away a bit if getting worse. I knew Lakota sensed my distress because he kept trying to turn back to the stables. "Ok.......boy.........let's.........go....home," I said starting to cry. He turned right away and stared of at a trot to the stables which was a good half an hour away. We were about fifteen minutes away when all of a sudden I was taken over by a dizzy spell and fell from Lakota's back. I hit the ground on my side and immediantly turned to the right and vomited. I layed there for a good while breathing slowly fromt he pain and dizziness. Lakota the whole time was standing there head down nudging me to get up. As soon as I stood up I was overcame with dizziness and lightheadedness and quickly fell onto Lakota's side. I leaned over from more, intense, pain and vomited again. Noticing the red discoloration in the bile I climbed to Lakota's back and kicked him into a canter to the stables. We reached the stables and I dismounted in a fall. I grabbed Lakota's reins and walked to his stall stumbling everywhere. I put him in his stall and untacked him. Not being myself and in a hurry to tget to the hospital i put histack beside his stall in the aisle. "good...bye boy.....i'll be back," I said stumbling to my truck.

As I was just coming in I noticed Jassica stumbling over to her car. I hopped out of my truck and quickly went over to her. "Hey" I said as I approached. She turned to look at me and held her stomache with pain shooting accross her face. Obviously something was wrong. "What happened?" I asked trying to help her out some. She wasn't able to talk easily and just said "Kicked yesterday. Still hurts. Going to hospital" I instinctivly said "ouch" when I herd that she was kicked. "You really shouldn't drive" I said to her. "Here, I'll give you a ride!" I offered. Jassica nodded and I helped her to the truck.

Finally being able to ride again I walked into the barn and gave each of my horses a carrot and sugar cube. They all nickered and, of course, nuzzled me for more. I got out Lakota and unwrapped his back leg to check and see how his hock was and realized I should probably walk him on the Hot walker for exercise. I walked him over to the walker and took about ten minutes to give a little exercise. I put him back in his stall and got out Relish. I took him over to the crossties and put his bridle on. I walked him over the mounting block and put my helmet on and slid a crop into my boot. We walked into the outdoor arena and did some 20 meter and 10 meter circles. I worked on Relish's Passage and Piaffe' before taking him to the indoor for some jumping. "Come on boy just two more triples and two crossrails and we will be done." I said Kicking him into a canter. He cleared the first triple beautifly and the first crossrail ok. The second triple was a little unbalanced and he knocked one rail on the last jump of the triple. The cross rails were fine but I realized after doing a hunter circle that I had ripped my incision a little going into my two point. I walked Relish around the ring two times and dismounted. "Ow," I said pulling my shirt up, "I don't quite think I am ready to ride jumps yet," I said taping my bandage back down. "Come on boy lets get you untacked and put in the paddock," I said pulling off his bridle and shuting the paddock gate behind me.

"Uhhh, What a beautiful day boys....Isn't it?" I said stepping down my horses aisle, "I say I take you both out for a walk." I walked to Lakota's stall and Opened the latch. "Ok, boy, your leg looks ok so I say your ok for a halter walk," I said. I put Loki's halter on and lead him out of his stall. I tied him to the crossties and hurried to Relish's stall. I placed him halter on him and and walked him out too. I unlatched Loki and I started toward the paddocks. "I don't want to walk you two in the open, one of you hyper horses might try to escape," I said shutting the paddock door behind me. I walked the two down to the stream and let them play in the water for a bit. Loki started splashing Relish and Relish splashed back. It was odd to see two horses play like this but I guess it must have been a game to them. See which horse can make the biggest splash by stomping his hoof and look unnoticed. They splashed on for about ten minutes until Loki, being the oldest, got fet up and walked over to me. He nuzzled my pocket and I gave him a Cube of sugar. Relsih then followed behind. I started back to the paddock and put the two away.

After a long two years of being hiates from riding, I stepped into the barn, careful to step over the lip of the door track. My horses have been sold due to the slumping economy, and the only one I have left is Lakota, my azteca. I have stopped in every week to make sure he was well fed, even if it wasn't the top of the line food. But after the worst times at home, I am ready to come back and stay at Tanglewood and retrain my horse for the show arena; retrain myself more. I walked over to Lakota and patted his rump, he turned from his back-facing position and nuzzled my hand. "Hello buddy, I am sorry I have neglected to ride you, you know she is not well, it's all just a matter of time. I love you." I walked back to the clean-cut tack room and grabbed my grooming box. I may not ride today, but I will deffinately give my horse a good grooming and sponge bath.
WILL FINISH LATER ZZZZzzzzz....
