I led Cyro into the ring, he was brushed neatly and he was picking his feet up prettily, his saddle was polished to perfection and his eyes were bright and happy. I mounted in one swift movement and settled into the saddle. I began to warm him and myself up by walking around the ring a few times, then we trotted. Soon he was warmed up and I gave him a little nudge, we began a smooth canter, I asked him to stop and begin on the right leg, he did it with ease, then we moved onto jumping. He cantered easily toward the first jump witch was only a small oxer, he cleared it with ease, and on it went until he was beginning to get tiered, we slowed down a bit and I cooled him out. I brought him to a halt, dismounted and walked him back to the stables where I hosed, groomed and watered him, making sure his stable rug was on, I walked out of the stables.
