Riders Name: Corey Horses Name: Lyle Class #: 3
Riders Name: Corey Horses Name: Nifty Class #: 4
Riders Name: Corey Horses Name: Grin Class #: 1
Class 3...
As I cantered around the show jumping course, waiting for my starting signal, I heard the beep. Moving swiftly to the first jump, Lyle soared over it. I could say that there was 6 inches of light through his hooves and the top rail. Speeding around the turn, Lyle popped over the second jump, like a dime, he raced over the third jump, never knocking down a pole. Deciding that he was rushing, I did a half halt, he slowed down some and landed the jump perfectly. Once again sailing over the fifth jump, and over the sixth jump, a wide spread. We turned sharply when the seventh jump was done, heading for the low rails. We cantered back to the sixth jump, this time the other way. Making a huge loop for the in-and-out jump, he practicly made it in one leap! Checking him after the jump, I turned him to the eleventh jump, preparing for it early. Amost hitting it, but not, we flew over it like in practice. Half halting again, I popped him over the last jump, and crossed the finish line, with a great time.
Class 1...
I sailed Grin over the first jump, a nice oxer. She made the first jump clean, as do the second and third. She started to gallop and I checked her fast, we were heading pell-mell for the double spread! We turned and she sailed over it, the fifth jump we almost knocked it over, her rear hooves scraping the poles, I cringed, waiting for it to come down, a gasp from the crowd told me that it hadn't fallen, we were still clean! Making a long loop for the next two jumps, lined in a row, we flew over them effortlessly. Making a wide turn, we hopped over the X, and over the ninth jump as well. Here comes the oxer, I thought as we popped over it, phew! When we finished the course, I was clean, with a time of 2 minutes, 8 seconds, the best time yet!
Class 4...
I decided to rush Nifty, since we were number seven, and there was great rounds ahead of me. We raced through the course with incredile speed, over the double, around the turn, over an X, and over the oxer spread. Landing after the fifth jump, Nifty tripped and barley made it over the next jump, a huge spread. Luckily, we had that jump clean, and the next one too. We made a blazing turn on the forehand, and flew over the last and final jump with no rails down, a nice time, we had made it to the jump off! (If there is one.)

Riders Name: Lilly Horses Name: Northan wind Class #: 2
Class 2: I trotted Northan wind into the jumping arena. His gaits were smooth and he lifted his feet gracefully.I urged him to canter,we approached jump number one,i raised my seat, leant forward and moved my hand to the perfect point on Northan wind's neck.He landed perfectly,i slid back into the saddle and we canterd onward.Northan wind cantered towards the second jump,he pranced for half a mili second but i held him firm in the canter. He soared over jump number two,Number three went just as well as jump number one,we flew over it.I leant forward in the saddle,my seat slightly raised. We canterd tidily and smoothly onwards and flew over jump number four,Northan wind was flying. We made a nice clean turn and jumped number five.Northan wind cantered towards jump number six, this jump did not go smoothly as i had hoped.Northan wind almost refuesd it,i had to do all i could to get him over, but luckily he jumped it cleanly. We made a left turn towards jump number seven and Northan wind raised his front legs and took off powerfully over the jump.At number eight we cleared it nicley and got ready for the last jump.Northan wind put so much effort into this jump, more than any horse i have ever known,he was totally focused and ready,we cleared it perfectly.Clean!!!I hugged Northan wind around his neck, almost crying.''good boy, well done darling!''i said to him.our time was great.2 minutes 4 secondes the best so far!
