I scanned over the coarse noticing some tricky turns and a wide oxer. After memorizing my course I had it down pretty well and I turned Weedy around. We went to the warm-up area and warmed up. We walked trotted and cantered in both directions before going over a few small jumps. After we were good to go we returned to the show arena. My turn was quickly approaching so I watched the rounds ahead of me go. Finally it was our turn! We entered at a walk but only long enough so that the judge could get my number before squeezing my mount forewards into a trot. We started our curtosy circle and quickly got a canter. Weedy was cantering along nicely and I looked over our first jump, a small vertical and the begining of a four strided line. 3, 2, 1 I counted in my head as we approached it. I leaned forewards into my two-point, gave the bold horse a squeeze, and he soared over it. Land, 1, 2, 3, 4 I said to myself again before Weedy leaped off the ground. I slid my outside leg back a little and asked the horse for the correct lead (since he changed over the first jump) he landed correctly as I had asked and we turned the corner to the left. The next fence was in the center of the arena. We began a circle and easily jumped the third fence. We completed the circle and I looked up to our next group, another line going accross the arena on a diaganal. The first jump was a large cross-rail and the second was an oxer probably about 3' tall. We headed for it but the first jump did not go smoothly, Weedy had to squeeze in a short stride right before it. Hoping the judge wasn't looking I squezed him over it but he had overjumped. Oh well, I can't be perfect all the time I said to myself. I pushed the horse forewards so that wouldn't happen again. This time he had his strides right but I had to help him over it a lot! When we reached the base I felt the large animal below me try to wiggle out and refuse the intimidating barrier. I squeezed him forewards with all the strength I had and said "C'mon boy! You can do it, at least give it a try!" in his ear to help encourage him. Within the split second all this happened I felt he still wasn't going to go so I threatened with my jumping crop. That finalized his decision and he leaped into the air overjumping by atleast six inches. We landed with a thump on the other side and I dug my heels down to prevent me from falling on his neck. We cantered into the corner and around the bend completely recovered from the oxer. He cantered smoothly around over to the longside where there was a small cross rail and then a short bounce. We jumped the crossrail like it was nothing and within the three strides before the bounce I collected him real short. He jumped the first jump and then the second right away and seemed to be glad I had shortened his stride. We cantered along the rail up until the middle of the next longside. We made an easy right turn and prepared for the jump in the middle again, the one we made a circle with earlier. 3 2 1 I got into my two-point and we jumped the final fence! A rush of happiness crashed over me, it was Weedy's first show this season and he had gotten a clean round! I couldn't wait to be pinned and quickly made another curtosy circle before exiting and waiting for the final results.

Ya I realized that and well I am going to take out Dancer cause I know nothing about Dressage. Hehe. I only rodeo, like barrels, breakaway, and goats. I know about jumping cause I did horse judging for about 4 years and we had to judge it. I will get back to my role play tomorrow I am going to make it really good hopefully.
